Marley Anglia are distinct roof tiles that have a single overlap but with a very deep “roll” effect, giving them the Farnhouse look. Made from concrete and with a choice of five surface colours, these tiles also has a bullnosed finish to the leading edge, the profile of this tile is similar to the Redland Roof Pantiles.

Coverage

This tile has a dimension of 387mm x 230mm giving a nominal width coverage of 204mm.

If laid with a 75mm headlap you can achieve a coverage of 15.7 tiles per square metre. If laid with a 100mm headlap you can expect coverage to be 17.1 tiles per square metre.

The shape is this tile means it is somewhat inconvenient for storing and handling. The deep profile can also make cement work more difficult, especially on valleys.

Fixings and Battens

This tile is secured to the roof with 38mm x 3.35mm tile nails. Battens can be either 50mm x 25mm with centres spaced no greater than 600mm or 38 x 25mm with centres no greater than 450mm.

Tile Weight

47kg per square metre laid with 75mm headlap.

51kg per square metre if laid with a 100mm headlap.
